Russell Mulcahy

Miał być reżyserem filmu "Nieśmiertelny: Źródło". W wyniku różnicy zdań z producentami Peterem S. Davisem i Williamem N. Panzerem oraz przeczuciu, że film podobnie jak wyreżyserowany kilkanaście lat wcześniej także przez Mulcahy'ego "Nieśmiertelny II" okaże się klapą artystyczną i finansową, zrezygnował z udziału w produkcji. Zamiast niego zaangażowano ostatecznie Bretta Leonarda.

Prowadził rozmowy w sprawie reżyserii filmu "Pamięć absolutna", jednak ostatecznie zaangażowany został Paul Verhoeven.

Ukończył Corrimal High School w Wollongong (Australia).

Miał być reżyserem filmu "Wampiry", kiedy projekt planowano na początku lat 90-tych XX wieku. Film powstał jednak dopiero w 1998 roku, a wyreżyserował go John Carpenter.

Miał być reżyserem filmu "W szczękach rekina 3D", jednak ostatecznie zrezygnował. Zastąpił go Kimble Rendall.

Pierwotnie to on był reżyserem filmu "Rambo 3". Po dwóch tygodniach kręcenia odszedł jednak z planu z powodu "różnic twórczych" i został zastąpiony przez Petera MacDonalda.
