Rick Wakeman

Muzyk gościł w Polsce w maju 2001 roku, dając koncerty w Warszawie i Zabrzu.

Studiował na londyńskim The Royal College of Music.

Z około 80 konkursów muzycznych, w jakich brał udział, zwyciężył w ponad 50.

Był członkiem następujących zespołów:
- Strawbs (1970-1971; instrumenty klawiszowe);
- Yes (1971-1974, 1976-1980, 1990-1992, 1995-1996, 2002-2004; instrumenty klawiszowe);
- Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe (1988-1990; instrumenty klawiszowe).

Uplasował się na 2 pozycji w rankingu na 100 najlepszych pianistów rockowych, który przeprowadziła strona www.digitaldreamdoor.com.
