50 filmów, które po części trzeba, po części warto obejrzeć by poznać kino kanadyjskie. Filmy ułożone alfabetycznie. P.S. Dlaczego wyjątkowo, tylko 50 ? Cóż, sympatyczni Kanadyjczycy długo nie posiadali swojego przemysłu filmowego na odpowiednim poziomie. Po co, jak mówiący tym samym językiem Amerykanie produkowali za dwóch., francuskojęzyczni zaś chętnie korzystali z bogactwa kinematografi znad Sekwany. Szkoda pieniędzy. Jakieś bajki, krótkie metraże czy dokumenty przyrodnicze i nie tylko, to chętnie. Kino kanadyjskie zaczęło się rozkręcać dopiero w latach 70 (Cronenberg), a na dobre kino festiwalowe i nagrody, przyszła pora dopiero w latach 90. No i rzecz jasna, jednocześnie, Kanada stała się chętnym współproducentem wielu światowych produkcji, ale większość z tych filmów trudno nazwać stricte kanadyjskimi. Mógłbym też dobić do 100 masą produkcji pierwszych z brzegu jak leci, byle więcej (sorry, taki przytyk do jednego z liściarzy ;) ale szanujmy się.
