Hilda and Zelda are going to the Netherworld for some much needed Rest & Relaxation (it’s the witch equivalent of going to Las Vegas). Although Sabrina does everything her power to dissuade them, they insist on hiring a babysitter – er, make that chaperone to take care of her. Sabrina, being 14 now, is convinced she is an adult and takes it hard, especially since she had a pajama party planned with Maritza. It’s an important night, because Maritza’s been talking about dropping out of school, getting married and having kids, and Sabrina wants to have a heart-to-heart chat with Marizta to “set her straight.” Then Sabrina meets Mrs. Pratt, the nice old lady her Aunts have hired to stay with her. “That woman must be 110 years old,” fumes Sabrina, who immediately starts plotting. If only Mrs. Pratt were closer to Sabrina’s age! Salem, who has no intentions of becoming Mrs. Pratt’s lap cat, is in agreement. They need someone younger. You know what happens next. One miscast spell later, Sabrina and Salem have a howling one year-old on their hands. That’s when Maritza arrives – and of course, Sabrina can’t tell her about the spell problem. The girls have their work cut out for them as full time babysitters until Hilda and Zelda get back – and in the meantime, there are fun and hi-jinks aplenty a la Baby’s Day Out. In the end, Sabrina realizes maybe she does need some supervision, and Maritza realizes that staying in school will be a lot more fun than playing mom.
