Hang out the bunting and blow up the balloons – it’s ‘Youth Day’ and in preparation for MP Peter McCrea’s visit, local young people are shadowing advisors at the Job Centre. Ambitious plans are thwarted when a request for staff to dress down leads to an embarrassing faux pas for Trish, there are tears when teenager Ann-Marie develops an awkward crush on Karl and there’s a security crisis when Michael hacks into Jobseeker computer records. Meanwhile saddled with troublesome Bryony, Angela sets out to derail the whole event.
