W 2003 roku ukończył medycynę nuklearną na University of the Incarnate Word w San Antonio (Teksas, USA).

W 2006 roku uzyskał tytuł magistra w zarządzaniu ochroną zdrowia na Our Lady of the Lake University w San Antonio (Teksas, USA).
