Ukończył szkołę średnią Miami Carol City Senior High School w Miami Gardens (Floryda, USA).

Ma syna Williama Leonarda Robertsa III (ur. 08.01.2002 r.) z Tiallondrą Kemp oraz córkę Kennedy (ur. 01.08.2005 r.) z Brooke.

W 2014 roku napisał książkę pt. "Freeway Rick Ross: The Untold Autobiography".
