W 1949 roku założył firmę Warren Miller Entretainment, przy pomocy której nadal realizuje projekty poświęcone „sportom weekendowym” – narciarstwu, żeglarstwu i windsurfingowi.
Zmarł na wyspie Orcas (Waszyngton, USA).
Ma dwie starsze siostry Mary Helen i Betty Jane.
