Ukończył Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts w Anseong (Korea Południowa).

Od 2010 roku jest wokalistą w boysbandzie Infinite, a od 2014 roku także w duecie Toheart.

Ma starszego brata.

Wystąpił w następujących teledyskach: 
- 2007 r. - "Guigamaloe" - KooPD; 
- 2009 r. - "Words That Are Hard to Say" - Seung-gi Lee.

Wydał następujące albumy:
