"Dressing everyone in period costumes, Leslie is "rolling prices back to the 15th century" for a Renaissance Days promotion. With profits down, Leslie says that there won't be any annual bonuses. In lieu of a company picnic, he is throwing a big party at the store that will feature a shopping cart joust pitting Todd against a contestant from SVM. SVM's regional manager Charles Kliphouse, accepts Leslie's challenge and offers Yolanda a manager's job at SVM in return for rigging the joust. Yolanda sabotages Todd's cart, but is stunned when Charles demands that the knights switch carts. When his man tumbles to the floor, Charles threatens to sue G&G for negligence. To avoid a devastating lawsuit, Leslie sells G&G to SVM and, with Yolanda at the helm, Charles quickly makes working there as difficult as possible. But she soon quits and confesses to her role in the plot. With his plan to drive G&G out of business finally exposed, Charles sells the store back to Leslie."
