The building has housed 1000 years of violent history, having sheltered many French and Jewish refugees during the genocide of the Cathars and Knights Templar. The owners and visitors of the building have reported a strange paranormal activity on the grounds, including a presence that cause the hairs on the back of their necks to stand up. They have also said that the lights flicker on and off, the doors open and close, and objects will move unexplainably.
