A)It’s Halloween in Roarsville and Henry is dressed as a spacemonster! He’s very excited for the Halloween parade. In a Roarsville tradition, the Treats Balloon will fly over the parade and release treats that everyone will scramble for – especially the greatest treat of all, the Hugglebar. But when a big gust of wind sweeps the balloon high into the sky, the entire Halloween Scramble is thrown into jeopardy. Henry volunteers to go save the balloon – even though it means he won’t be able to be part of the Scramble. He bounces from balloon to balloon until he reaches the Treats Balloon and finally steers it back over the parade, releasing the treats. He watches everyone have a great time at the Scramble, feeling a little left out. But when he lands, Henry is treated like a hero and presented with the Hugglebar, because he’s the one who saved the day! B)Henry is really excited to be camping out with Daddo and the other Monster Scouts, especially his best friend Denzel. They paddle down the river and set up their tents, then sit around the campfire eating s’more roars. Daddo tells the kids a story about the Spooky River Monster. Everyone finds the story enthralling, but it really scares Denzel. That night as they all get ready to go to sleep, Denzel becomes even more scared. He tries to keep Henry awake, then finally confesses that he’s scared of all the sounds in the darkness. Henry helps Denzel get over his fear by pointing out that the sounds are just animals, and by showing him how the moon can serve as a nightlight. Denzel feels much better. Later that night, all the kids wake up, thinking they hear the Spooky River Monster. But Denzel is able to point out that it’s just Daddo, snoring in his tent. Everyone thanks Denzel for being so brave, and they happily go back to sleep. In the morning, all the scouts get their camping patches and hop in their raft to head to Rainbow Falls!
