Henry is thrilled because today is his favourite day of the year: Hugglemas! It’s the day where you tell others how much you love them, make Hugglemas Taffy, and get presents. After Henry helps Daddo put up his famous Hugglemas lights on the house, he tells us why THIS Hugglemas Day is even more special than usual: He gets to turn on the Hugglemas lights, for the first time ever. It’s quite an honor. Momma asks Henry to bring some Hugglemas Taffy over to the Enormomonster house. He agrees, but wants to be sure he won’t miss his chance to turn on the lights. He rushes over to find Mr. and Mrs. Enormomonster getting ready for the holiday that THEY celebrate today: The Tra-la-la-laaaaaaa Festival, where everything is worth singing about. Henry is curious about their different traditions, which include putting up a big tree with a singing Starmonster on top, then bringing the tree and the Starmonster back to the forest when they’re done. Mrs. Enormomonster offers Henry an enormous cookie, which he eats while the Enormos get ready to go out. Henry becomes so stuffed that he can’t fly. Thinking that Henry has left, the Enormos leave the house and close the door. The doors are locked, and Henry’s stuck inside! Worried that he’ll miss Hugglemas – and his turn to light the Hugglemas lights – he scrambles to come up with a plan. He climbs up the tree and bends it down so he can reach the door handle, and unlocks it. Success! But just then Summer walks in
