There have been recent reports about some penthouses being robbed, though this crime is different than most others: a gorilla is the prime suspect. Hong Kong Phooey and Spot do their best to figure out why exactly the gorilla is committing the thefts; meanwhile, Penry is requested to give the police station a new coat of paint./ Recently, a bunch of banks near the ocean have been getting robbed, so Hong Kong Phooey heads to the next potential target to try to stop the next burglary before it occurs. However, he soon gives chase to the thieves, though he finds out that he may just need to go underwater to put an end to the thefts.
