Lewis Sezon 5 Odcinek 2: Wild Justice

Inspector Lewis and his partner DS Hathaway enter the archaic world of St Gerard's Hall when a visiting female bishop is found dead after drinking poisoned wine. The college priest tells them that the wine she drank was only available to the college staff, which means that the police are looking for an insider with a grudge against the bishop. Lewis and Hathaway wonder if Parsons was murdered because her liberal views contradicted those of the reactionary religious leaders of the college - or if something more sinister is afoot. When another two deaths occur, both mirroring macabre murders from Jacobean revenge tragedy, it appears that the killer is intent on eliminating candidates from the election to become Vice Regent of St Gerard's. But when Chief Supt Innocent learns of a dark secret in one of the suspect's pasts, Lewis and Hathaway realise that the motive is much more twisted. Someone is seeking a bizarre form of wild justice for crimes committed against them over 20 years ago.
