When a young man is found beaten and suffocated, Detectives Flynn and Vega follow a maze of clues back to a clandestine relationship between the victim and a young woman promised to another man in a pre-arranged marriage. The young woman’s father seems to be the perfect suspect, until Angie's investigation uncovers a Hitchcockian tale of tragedy and desperation in which an act of deadly revenge may ultimately have the power to heal.
