What’s not to love about explosions? Let me think... nothing! So this A to Z of MythBusters, Booms is arguably the most perfect episode in MythBusters history! The format is simple - Kari, Grant, Tory, Adam and Jamie run through this explosive alphabet highlighting some classic MythBusters moments while at the same time blowing up a whole load more booms. From types of explosive to explosive myths from explosive personnel to the science of explosives, there’s booms, booms and more booms. The guys kick things off with A for Audit where they do a monumental countdown of the history of the MythBusters explosion where it’s revealed that there have been 752 detonations and counting. Actually make the 753 as Kari ramps things up with a brand new boom. Then it’s onto B for Bomb Range where the team give a unique insight into exactly what it is that makes the Bomb Range so special. C, as you might expect is for Cement Truck and D is for Dynamite. And so the show goes on - E for Explosions, F for Food, G for Grenade until we ultimately reach the far end of the alphabet. Each letter celebrates, excites and annihaltes. And while there’s a couple that seem like a bit of a reach, X is for xylophone - really, rest assured that this is an episode that will seriously blow you away. With new explosions including loud lawnmowers, annihilated artwork and TVs turned torpedo as well as old favourites. This show has got the lot. Boom!
