When a banker discovers his son stealing an irreplaceable coronet, the young man's guilt seems obvious. But although he will say nothing in his own defence, Holmes believes otherwise. This is the only screen version of The Beryl Coronet since the silent cinema. Fortunately, it is a very good one.
