Sherlock Holmes Sezon 1 Odcinek 9: The Bruce-Partington Plans

Clifford Witting’s script expands the story to show us why Holmes regarded Milverton as the ‘worst man in London’. The heroine here is not the beautiful but foolish Lady Eva Brackwell, but Stephanie Bidmead’s Lady Farningham, who becomes something like an avenging angel. Barry Jones, memorable as the Duke of Shires in the 1965 film A Study in Terror, makes Milverton a truly ‘poisonous thing’.
