A career criminal leaves prison determined to redeem himself and win over his family in the first episode of a three-part drama, but he finds the world a changed place. Jimmy Rose has spent 22 years of his life behind bars for armed robbery. Just released on licence at the age of 61, he is determined to prove it is never too late to start over, but the world and his family have changed, and he finds he may be forced back into crime to protect the people he loves. The series is the brainchild of screenwriter Alan Whiting, who also wrote the first two episodes.
