To chyba raczej do tego odnosi się tytuł i taki właśnie wybrali...

oczywiście że tytuł, treść filmu jak i sama piosenka są powiązane, ponieważ utwór "Man on the Moon" jest hołdem złożonym Kaufmanowi, a R.E.M. jest przecież zanotowane jako zespół który stworzył muzykę do filmu

a jeśli chodzi o tytuł, to nie zapominajmy o metaforach, bo tak często zostają niezauważone :P

Prawda jest taka że tytuł jest dobry i amerykanie też to mieli na mysli co mówi polski tytuł tyle że to jest język obcy a zwrot Człowiek z księżyca jest powszechnie utarty i dlatego tutaj należy hasło "Man from the moon" interpretować jako zwrot idiomowy. Po prostu amerykanie tak mówią, w takiej formie gramatycznej a chodzi o to samo. Słowo "from" które proponujesz miało by zbyt dosłowne znaczenie i znaczyłoby Człowiek pochodzący z księżyca mniej więcej, a tu chodzi tylko o zwrot, o zwariowanego, zupełnie innego niż normalni cżłowieka, takiego wystrzałowego dziwaka. Tym bardziej że moon jest pisane z małej litery a więc nie oznacza dosłwonie pochodzenia. Księżyc nie jest tu planetą, a po prostu zwykłym idiomowym, powszechnie utartym żartem, powiedzeniem. Myślę że najlepszym podsumowanie tematu będzie stwierdzenie, że jedni mówią tak, a drudzy inaczej, ale mają na myśli to samo.
