W latach 2012 - 2020 był wokalistą koreańskiego zespołu VIXX.

Ma dwie starsze siostry.

Wystąpił w następujących teledyskach:
- 2012 r. - "Let This Die (Extended Eng Ver.)" - Brian Joo; "Tease me" - In-guk Seo;
- 2014 r. - "Peppermint Chocolate" - K.will, Mamamoo feat. Whee sung; "Shall We Dance With Dr. Lim" - Im Chang-jung feat. LE, Dr. Lee.

Ukończył Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts w Anseongu (Korea Południowa).
