Był brany pod uwagę do roli Higha Rollera w filmie "Sucker Punch", którą otrzymał Jon Hamm.

Miał zagrać rolę Chiefa Buchwalda w filmie "W Dolinie Elah". Ostatecznie zastąpił go Josh Brolin.

Tim jest nieślubnym dzieckiem znanego baseballisty Tuga McGrawa.
