Według mnie to bzdura, że 2 księga będzie w tym roku, a tym bardziej w lato czy też na jesieni. 19 lipca rozpocznie się SDCC, a 20 będzie panel Korry na którym zapewne dowiemy się więcej na temat samego serialu i zapewne też premiery w USA. Być może też zobaczymy trailer promujący tak jak było to w przypadku 1 księgi. Do tego czasu każdą informację o możliwej premierze trzeba brać z dużym przymrużeniem oka ;)

Ale prace nad drugą księgą trwają już dobre kilka miesięcy więc nie mów że 13 odcinków będą robić prawie rok.

BOOK 2 OF LEGEND OF KORRA TO PREMIERE THIS FALL IN CANADA. POSSIBLE SUMMER RELEASE FOR U.S.? (avatarlegendofkorraonline)

Long status update but worth it.

I couldn't even tell you how I ended up on the top Canadian news site this morning, but needless to say I’m glad I did. I stumbled upon an article published just 19 hours ago that revealed YTV’s plan for the Fall season. I wasn’t sure what YTV was at first, but after doing a bit of research, I found that YTV is essentially Canada’s Youth Television Network.

The network airs shows targeting Canada’s youth, many of which are 3rd party shows from other television networks such as Nickelodeon. The article detailed YTV’s plan for the Fall by announcing all news series’ and returning series’ that would be airing on the network in the upcoming season. To my surprise, one of the returning series’ YTV listed for a Fall release was The Legend of Korra.

Though there was no month or date listed, we have confirmation that Book 2 of The Legend of Korra will air in Canada sometime during the Fall. But what does that mean for Book 2’s premiere in the United States?

Hint, Hint: It’s a good thing!

Shows in United States almost never premiere at the same time as the respective show in Canada – they generally tend to air much earlier. Just as an example, Sam & Cat will premiere in Canada on August 12th. Sam & Cat premiered in the United States on June 8th. Wendell & Vinnie will premiere in Canada on August 12th as well. Wendell & Vinnie premiered in the United States on February 16th.

As you can see, there is no formula to figure out when a show will air in the United States based it’s Canadian release date. But one trend that has generally remained constant is that series’ tend to air in the United States earlier than they do in Canada.

If you take that into account, the fact that Book 2 has been confirmed in Canada for Fall basically confirms that the latest the United States will have to wait for Book 2 is Fall. In fact, if the trend I talked about earlier remains constant, we could very well receive Book 2 in late Summer. But don’t expect anything before Comic-Con – I’d say anytime after July is fair game for Book 2.
