Ojciec Brown Sezon 3 Odcinek 5: The Last Man

A bucolic summer’s day. Team captain Charles retires from the innings to tumultuous applause and enters the cricket pavilion. A moment later we hear him shoot himself. One year later, Father Brown’s good friend Jane (Haydn Gwynne) raises a toast at her brother’s memorial bench and suggests that Lady Felicia (Nancy Carroll) be the new cricket club chairman, which makes Major Wallander (Tom Chadbon) choke on his wine. Later Max Scullion (Darrell D’Silva), new owner of neighbouring estate Hambleston takes delight in watching Kembleford’s lacklustre team practice before the annual match. Later that day Kembleford bad boy and demon bowler Vince (Robbie O’Neill) finds a cryptic note – “£500 to settle this once and for all. Midnight, cricket pavilion.” But as he swaggers inside he is shot dead. When new Captain, Raj (Abhin Galeya) is arrested for the murder, Father Brown must prove his innocence to give Kembleford CC any hope of winning, otherwise they could lose their pitch for good.
