On April 6, 2010, rumors began of the show being canceled ,[4], but it has been confirmed that the show is only on hiatus and the remaining nine episodes that were ordered will be burned off beginning June 6, 2010, at 7:30 ET/PT.[5] Co-producer Justin Berfield announced on March 30, 2010 via Twitter that Sons of Tucson will return to Fox's Sunday line-up on June 6, 2010. The reason for the hiatus is because of very low ratings due to the popularity of the "Animation Domination" shows. Fox is hoping to help the show's ratings by returning it this summer since the other Sunday night shows will have had their season finales by then. [6]
