Eddie is the king of Sunshine, coaching the team on a winning streak into the finals – keeping Jacob’s US College basketball dream alive. Their relationship turns sour, however, when Jacob receives a VHS tape from an anonymous sender – the tape’s contents reveal Eddie from his playing days on a racist tirade with a black opponent. A deeply hurt, but pragmatic Jacob elects not to tell his teammates. Eddie’s lack of remorse weighs heavily on a betrayed Jacob, affecting his ability to perform at his best. Zara continues to uncover pieces of the puzzle about the night in question – including Elly Messina’s shoe found in Dazzler’s Ute. The police, however, are on the trail of Deng Deng. It seems only two people can save him: his girlfriend Nyagua, whose strict father would then discover their secret rendezvous and forbid all further contact; or Jacob, who drove Elly Messina in the stolen Porsche that fateful night. Jacob earns his golden opportunity to impress the US Talent Scout. But will Elly Messina waking up from her coma place his future in jeopardy?
