Relations between Jacob and Eddie remain strained amid premiership celebrations in Sunshine. The arrival in town of a Talent Scout from the US convinces Eddie that he must face up to the mistake from his past in order to heal the wounded Jacob and free him to perform at his best. Eddie reveals all at the team’s Trophy Night and resigns in disgrace as coach. Deng Deng realizes that Jacob has kept Eddie’s racist comments secret from his teammates and questions his friend’s desperation to achieve his goal at any price. In seeking to prevent Jacob’s unjust charge and conviction, Zara helps to bring down the person responsible for Elly’s near-fatal injury. Released from police custody, Jacob stars in the State Championships Play-Off for his shot at selection for the US College Basketball Scholarship. Will he make it to America to pursue his dream?
