Stacja FOX rozważa przywrócenie serialu w limitowanej formie. Kiefer Sutherland rozmawia właśnie nad szczegółami swojego powrotu do serialu a biorąc pod uwagę anulowanie "Touch", wreszcie będzie miał czas aby wcielić się ponownie w Jacka Bauera.

Podobno pomysł powrotu serialu wypłynął od samego Howarda Gordona, który przez wiele lat prowadził produkcję "24". Ma już pomysł na całkiem nowy sezon i wsparcie 20th Century Fox TV, Imagine TV no i samej stacji FOX. W przywrócenie serii na ekrany zaangażowany jest również David Fury, który był producentem wykonawczym serialu.

FOX has ordered 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY, a thrilling new tent-pole event series set to restart the clock on the groundbreaking and Emmy Award-winning drama franchise starring Kiefer Sutherland. Produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Howard Gordon’s Teakwood Lane Productions, 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY will make its historic debut in the summer of 2014 on FOX.

The high-octane saga will reunite showrunner Howard Gordon with Sutherland and retain the real-time, pulse-pounding, fast-paced format with split screens and complex interweaving storylines, with 12 episodes representing 24 hours. The suspenseful event series once again follows the exploits of heroic agent JACK BAUER (Sutherland), who will resume his story several years following the events of the final season.

Originally premiering November 6, 2001, ‘24’ was nominated for a total of 73 Emmy Awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Over eight seasons, Kiefer Sutherland garnered seven Emmy Award nominations and one win for Outstanding Lead Actor – Drama Series. While the series gained global recognition, Sutherland’s portrayal of the legendary character penetrated the American psyche like no other dramatic television character to become part of the cultural lexicon.

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions. Howard Gordon, Brian Grazer and Kiefer Sutherland will executive produce, along with an additional team to be announced. The original series, which had its last American broadcast on May 24, 2010, was created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran.

Telewizja Fox dziś potwierdziła że 9 sezon 24 godziny zagości w przyszłym roku.

Nie mam przekonania co do tego pomysłu pomijania co drugiej godziny i trochę martwi mnie fakt, że Jack będzie miał prawie 60 lat, ale to wciąż "24", czyli klasa sama w sobie. Parę lat oddechu twórców z pewnością przywróci fabule najwyższą jakość i pozwoli zapomnieć o niedorzecznie fatalnym sezonie ósmym.

47 lat to dla ciebie prawie 60 ?!?!?! :) i mają być 2-3 przeskoki czasowe w trakcie sezonu a nie godzina co odcinek ;)

47 lat?

Jack jest 36-latkiem w pierwszej serii, akcja 8 sezonów rozgrywa się na przestrzeni 15 lat, a sezon 9 ma miejsce kilka lat po sezonie ósmym, czyli główny bohater będzie mieć ok. 55-56 lat, a to już jest dość blisko do 60-tki, o czym wspomniałem w poprzednim poście.

Czy nauka nie jest fajna?

Chodziło mi o wiek Kiefera a nie Jacka ;p Poza tym twórcy nigdy nie podali w którym roku miał miejsce 1 sezon (zapewne właśnie po to aby w razie czego móc "dostosować" wiek Jacka do wieku aktora ;))

Zatem dzięki za wzmiankę o wieku Kiefera Sutherland, ale poruszonym problemem był wiek bohatera, a nie aktora.

Niezależnie od tego czy 1 sezon miał miejsce w w 1500r. czy 1998r., odstępy czasowe pomiędzy poszczególnymi sezonami są konkretnie podane, także z wiekiem głównego bohatera nic się już nie da zrobić. Mam nadzieję, że akcja nowej serii będzie mieć miejsce niedługo po Day 8, a nie kilka lat później. W przeciwnym razie Jack będzie już blisko 60-tki, tak jak wspomniałem w pierwszym poście. A może robią to specjalnie, żeby mieć wymówkę dla fanów, że Bauer jest już za stary?

Początkowo, akcja sezonu 8 miał mieć miejsce zaraz po wydarzeniach pokazanych w sezonie 7, a fabuła dotyczyłaby Alana Wilsona i jego ludzi, zamiast mixu nieudanie skopiowanych wątków z poprzednich sezonów.

Gdyby twórcy trzymali się oryginalnego planu, uniknęlibyśmy sezonu - klapy, a do tego Jack byłby półtora roku młodszy.

Fakt ,sezon 8 byl raczej sredni ,ale ostatnie kilka odcinkow (SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ILER)od smierc Rene bylo genialnie!

Szkoda tylko, że nie będzie miał związku z niczym co miało miejsce w poprzednich sezonach. Od 7 sezonu liczyłem na to, że pojawi się jeszcze Alan Wilson. Ale sam fakt dalszej emisji jednego z najlepszych dla mnie seriali już mnie bardzo cieszy.
