Fox’s Glee saw a large ratings uplift Thursday night for its tribute to fallen co-star Cory Monteith.

Thursday’s hour delivered 7.4 million viewers and a 2.8 rating among adults 18-49, easily the show’s best demo number for this season so far. That’s up 40 percent from the musical dramedy’s recent season premiere. Here’s our take on the episode.
