His best friend, Carly, is striving to become an actress and secretly works as a cam girl on the side. Uly's roommate, Ford, is an aspiring screenwriter dating Severine, an astrobiological theorist, who suggests they have an open relationship. Ulysses is haunted by ominous nightmares.
