No i finalnie. Nawet jeśli przełamał by czar to nagle stałby się 1000-paro-letnim starcem i prawdopodobnie od razu by umarł.

Nigdy nie wiadomo Bystra twórcy jeżeli będą chcieli aby odzyskał pamięć itp to zrobią tak. Mam taką nadzieje bo Lodowy król jako Simon jest taki inny od lodowego króla. Może dzięki Marcelinie odzyska pamięć albo jeżeli zabierze mu się korone na długi czas nic nie wiadomo.

To że Doctor Princess nie jest Betty potwierdziła Rebecca Sugar na comic-conie jakiś rok temu, więc nie ma o co się kłócić.

Czy pani Bystra jest zarejestrowana u nas na pun forum? Pytam tak profilaktycznie, bo widzę że się pani orientuje się nieco, a zorientowany użytkownik to jednak skarb w dzisiejszych czasach.

Zarejestrowana ale się nie udzielam, z przyczyn Brako-czaso-leniwcowatych. Mam konta na różnych dziwnych domenach, jak tylko złapię chwilkę to zaktywizuję się też na pun.

Jak to nie jest zły? Poprawka, on nigdy nie był zły. Był socjopatą z zaburzeniami osobowościowymi, manią prześladowczą i nerwicą natręctw. Więc nie był zły. Był chory. Ciągle jest, nie stanowi już jednak tak znacznego zagrożenia dla społeczeństwa.

No i nie "prawie kumplem". Dla Marceliny jest prawie jak ojciec a dla Finna i Jake'a zagadką. Nie wiedzą jak go traktować, bo jest przyjacielem Marceliny.

Co do odcinka, możliwe że Lodowy Król po prostu odpuści. Ergo, przestanie porywać królewny lub przypomni sobie coś ze swojej przeszłości.

Aby się tego dobiezieć przyjdzie nam poczekać tydzień :}

Hello, this is my first time posting, and I'm here to propose my theory on Ice King. I apologize if this theory has already been brought up, but I haven't been able to find anything on it before.

Note: A fair amount of assumption is used (This is a theory after all) so some small leaps are required.

Theory: Simon Petrikov has a subtle influence, or possibly even assumes control over IK's body, during rare moments. These lucid moments are caused by IK producing music of some sort (Singing/playing an instrument). I'm not saying that every time IK picks up a musical triangle he will turn into Simon, but sometimes he does have influence of varying degrees.

Evidence:
My first piece of evidence comes from the episode “I Remember You.” Recall this is the episode IK and Marceline write a song together.
At the very beginning of the episode, IK is singing Marceline's song (With a few extra “Gunts”). He says that he needs to have some dope lyrics, and “JT Dog Zone (Or whatever) says ladies love bros with tortured pasts” which he then follows up with “I've got a way tortured past!... I think... I can't really remember.” This brief remembrance of his past may be caused by his singing of a song, and/or more specifically, a song written by Marceline, someone who was a large part of his past. This is probably my least convincing piece of evidence, so keep reading.

Immediately after, he retrieves his scrapbook, and says the pages were still “Wet with tears.” You can see the pages dripping with the aforementioned tears at Marceline's house when IK produces the pages for her. Now there is a decent amount of things we can infer from these few actions. First, let's assume that Simon turned into the Ice King around 1000 years ago, but the number of years is essentially irrelevant, because no matter the length of time, the pages wouldn't be wet with the tears of Simon, unless Simon/IK had been recently crying over the pages.
IK was potentially “in Simon mode” for lack of better terminology, right before the episode began. Simon was probably in relative control, perhaps from singing, and he was crying over the pages. After (I assume quickly) becoming IK again, he probably wondered what he was doing, and starting singing Marceline's song, since she was probably just on his (subconscious) mind, and his previous action was most likely singing.

Alternately (Or perhaps in addition to the above paragraph) one of the reasons the pages were so wet (More wet at Marceline's than at IK's home) is because IK was crying on them between the time of finding them, and flying to Marceline's house. If this is true, then I would assume that it is because IK was singing.

Unfortunately, during his time with Marceline, with the two of them producing music, IK does not yield anything hinting at lucidity. EDIT: I forgot about IK pushing Marceline, and then regretting it deeply (More so than I recall him regretting anything else.) This may be because it was Marceline, and/or because Simon was slightly present, so I don't really count it as much evidence, as other reasons seem more likely. Take it for what you will.

So far I can understand if you feel my theory doesn't hold any water, but bear with me. One of the main reasons I came up with this theory is because of the episode “Simon and Marcy.”


During their past encounter with the deer, Simon put on the crown in order to defend Marceline and himself. Even though Simon was still clearly visible while wearing the crown, Marceline had to knock the crown off of Simon to free him from its grasp. This is important because later in the episode with the zombie-like candy people (Which is what I assume the are) Simon puts on the crown, but as he does so, he begins singing. After dealing with the zombie candies, Simon knocks the crown off of his head. This is important because, despite being completely transformed into the Ice King at this point, Simon was able to maintain control something he was unable to do previously, even when his insanity wasn't as severe. This is the moment that I feel really shows music's influence in the Simon/IK character.

Other evidence I have is that IK has a number of instruments around his ice home. This may be Simon's way of trying to take control of the body, as more instruments would create more opportunities for IK to begin playing/singing, which would in turn give Simon more opportunities at moments of lucidity.


Sorry for the length, I tried to keep it short(and failed). If this has already been brought up, let me know, or if there is a better place to post this, also let me know. Feedback on my thoughts would be appreciated, even if you just call it hogwash (Though please provide counter arguments).
