Z uwagi na mój własny, bujnie kwitnący egocentryzm, uwielbiam następujący tekst Zaphoda: 'If there's anything around here more important than my ego, I want it caught and shot now!'

Mnie bardzo podobał się moment, gdy Vogoni uciekali w popłochu przed Fordem, wrzeszcząc: "He's got a towel!" :)

Marvin: "I've seen it. It's rubbish."

Marvin: "Incredible... it's even worse than I thought it would be."

Arthur o Zaphodzie: "We're going on a hunch of someone whose brain is being fueled by lemons?"

Zaphod: "Trill, are you wearing my underwear? 'Cause I'm wearing yours, and it ain't doing the trick."

Kocham do szaleństwa;) niemal wszystkie stwierdzenia pogrążonego w skrajnej i głębokiej depresji Marvina, choć w ‘piśmie’ nie brzmią tak, jak wypowiadane charakterystycznym głosem znakomitego Alana Rickmana:

Marvin: ‘Here I am with a brain the size of a planet and they ask me to pick up a piece of paper. Call that job satisfaction? I don't.’

Marvin: ‘Life? Don't talk to me about life…’

Marvin: ‘I've been talking to the main computer.’
Artur: ‘And?’
Marvin: ‘It hates me.’

Marvin: ‘This will all end in tears.’
