One of the jams of Michael Madsen's straight-to-video starring vehicles of this time. At the same time, what this movie could be is almost better than what it is. The script is a little better than the movie - at least in the first half. With another rewrite and a stronger third act, it could have been on the level of a John Dahl '90s neo-noir. Only the first act got it perfect. (..) Michael has probably my favourite Michael Madsen line not written by me - it's when they're having an argument and she gets frustrated by him naturally, so she says: "Look, Jerry, just come back later, all right?" And then he interrupts her and says: "Do I look like a Jerry to you?"
