Na necie szukając wiadomości odnośnie wpisu na imdb Dragon Ball Movie 2015 natknąłem się
na takie coś..

15 things that are different about the uncut version of Dragonball Evolution
1 The whole plot of Oozaru being a servant to piccolo is not there.
2 Goku being revived with a kamehameha wave is not there.
3 The film also had a different beginning and ending.
4 Goku used the Nyoi-bō (power pole) staff in the final battle and it could extend but the scenes
were cut out.
5 Originally when they fell in to the pit roshi purposely falls on bulma’s bum and she gets her
gun and starts shooting him. Fox cut this out and replaced it and other scenes with reshoots.
6 Goku had a tail in his transformed state and did not transform back until piccolo cut his tail off
with his sword.
7 Mai was killed by piccolo for failing to kill goku after she stole the dragonballs from the temple.
So she was originally not at the final battle at all.
8 Shenlong spoke and was voiced by christopher sabat.
9 Piccolo was successful in getting his wish to have his youth restored.
10 Goku doesn’t fly up while simultaneously doing the kamehameha.
11 The movie was rated PG-13 and was at least 15 minutes longer.
12 Goku had a fight with Yamcha and Yamcha used the wolf fang fist.
13 The actors had better performences. History has shown that actors are often not very excited
about doing watered down reshoots.
14 The scene with goku trying to impress Chi Chi by lighting the candles with a kamehameha
wave is not present.
15 Akira toriyama’s Suggestions were used (and possibly stephen chow’s) but were cut out or
changed in the theatrical edition.

Z tekstu wynika, że DBE został pocięty przez studio FOX a nie do końca spartolony przez
reżysera. Studio zrobiło dokrętki z nowym reżyserem bez udziału Wonga..

He did use Akira Toriyama suggestons he was keeping contact with him on his cell phone and
there’s strong evidence to suggest he may have been doing the same thing with Stephen Chow.
But FOX changed a lot of stuff with reshoots months later.
James Wong was not involved with the reshoots they were done by a different director named
Jason Smith. the purpose of the reshoots were to further appeal to FOX’s demands to make the
film pg rated and to make it shorter. Its cheaper to show a shorter film in theaters.
