Twórcy mieli potężną kosę z Wiseau, który na wszelkie sposoby chciał zablokować możliwość dystrybucji filmu. Jednak dzisiaj, po latach batalii sądowej, wygrali. Więc jednak doczekamy się możliwości zobaczenia tego tytułu.

Niech ktoś zarzuci linkiem z tym filmem. Niedawno ogłoszono, że sąd oddalił pozwy Tommiego i nakazał jeszcze zadośćuczynić twórcom. Także dokument szykuje się mega ciekawy!

Hello friends, it's been a long time.
As you are likely aware, Wiseau Studio attempted to appeal the Superior Court of Ontario's April 2020 Judgement in our favour. We're happy to announce that on July 23rd, 2021 Tommy's appeal was dismissed by the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Reasons here: https://www.ontariocourts.ca/decisions/2021/2021ONCA0532.htm
However, we recently learned that Wiseau Studio commenced a new legal proceeding against us in the Federal Court of Canada, seeking damages of $2,700,000 for issues similar to what we have been defending since 2017.
We're confident that we will be able to defend this claim. This new proceeding appears to be another attempt to further delay the release of Room Full of Spoons. Rest assured we're doing everything within our control to put these matters behind us and release our documentary.

Hello friends,
Unfortunately we don’t have any updates about the release of Room Full of Spoons to share with you yet. We do have some litigation updates for you.
Since our last update, Wiseau filed another legal proceeding against us in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, seeking damages of $3,500,000. This action has been stayed, with the Court stating that this proceeding was “quite clearly an abuse of process”.
Meanwhile, the Federal Court of Canada action is still pending, where Wiseau is seeking damages of $2,700,000. Our lawyers have brought a motion to dismiss the action on the basis that these issues have already been litigated. We are confident that we can also defeat this claim. There has been no attempt from Wiseau to pay the outstanding judgment of over $1,000,000USD owed to our team. We have commenced enforcement proceedings in the US to collect the outstanding judgment.
We'd like to thank Matt Diskin and Meredith Bacal of Dentons Canada LLP and Doug Murray and Victoria Novak of Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland for committing to see our fight through to the end, and we want to thank you for sticking by us for all of these years.
