A Sneak preview in San Diego shown to a test audience before the U.S. release. Three scenes were cut as a result of this showing.

The U.S. theatrical version released in 1982 (This is the version I grew up with). Narration was added and a happy ending tacked on by the film's backers who were worried the work print was much too dark and confusing. Ridley Scott, now working on Thelma & Louise, was essentially locked out of the editing room.

The International Cut which was more violent. Criterion later released this version on Laser Disc.

The Broadcast Version in 1986, edited for T.V.

The Director's Cut in 1992 (which, as mentioned by Mark Hughes, was not overseen by Ridley Scott). The impetus behind this was actually a screening of the original workprint that went over very well with the audience. The studio realized there was demand for a cut that hewed closer to Scott's original vision.

The Final Cut in 2007 released on DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-Ray. This is the only version Ridley Scott had complete creative control over. Though it is similar to the Director's Cut (no voice over, no happy ending), it has many differences and does restore the complete dream sequence with the unicorn.

Dzięki. A któraś z tych wersji jest wiodąca, czy to jest nie określone? Pytam w kontekście nowego BR 2049.

Szczerze mówiąc to nie mam pojęcia. Sądzę, że poza nazwą (tak przypuszczam) te dwa filmy BR i BR 2049 niewiele będą miały ze sobą wspólnego. Chociaż nie znam żadnych faktów o tym czego tak naprawdę BR 2049 może dotyczyć.

Jak dla mnie - jako, że widziałem pierwszy raz wersję kinową z 1982 to do tej wersji mam spory sentyment. Zwłaszcza ta słynna ostatnia scena.
Żałuję, że Ridley podjął się nakręcenia sequela. Blade Runner jest moim zdaniem tworem zamkniętym, bez konieczności dopowiadania czegoś, bo wszsytko już zostało powiedziane. To tak (przesadzam trochę) jakby poprawiać "Mona Lizę" - można, ale sensu to raczej nie ma :)

Zgaduję że BR 2049 będzie nawiązywał do wersji "final cut" nad którą jako jedyną - jak wcześniej przytoczył @Pendrago - Ridley Scott miał pełną kreatywną kontrolę.
