I love that Damon and Elena didn’t tell anyone about the kiss, that they kept it as a secret between themselves.
The last time they kissed—when Elena kissed Damon in 2x22—we never got to see the reaction to their kiss. Months passed before we saw them again. I’m so glad we get to see the aftereffects now.
I’m still so awestruck by the porch scene they have in this episode (3x11). The way her eyes flit back and forth between the two of his when he’s holding her chin … She’s trying to figure out if she should move away or not, and she realizes she can’t.
Just the fact that they acknowledge the kiss, so easily and openly, and that Elena is so vulnerable, and how she says “You can’t kiss me again” in a broken voice … She’s half-crying, and she says it like she wants him to kiss her again so much and it kills her that her mind won’t let her. It looks like it’s so hard for her to say it and to deny him, and that by itself is beautiful.
And the fact that Damon knows and acknowledges that it’s not right at the moment just blew me away. He’s willing to wait, as long as it takes, and he recognizes that Elena needs time. It’s so amazing. He’s okay with that, and it’s so good of him. It’s such a different Damon from what he used to be—he has grown so unbelievably much.
Elena doesn’t even deny it when Damon says it is right, just not now. The way she looks at Damon when he says that—there’s a part of her that knows it’s true. That everything she feels for him is very right. And the way he says goodnight—just like the night before—it’s beautiful and so full of meaning. Every time they say goodnight to each other does something to me.
I love that Elena was the one to bring the kiss up. It seems like Damon would have—that’s usually the way things are. There was no “So, we kissed, we should talk about it.” It was already there, unspoken between them, and they both already knew what the other thought about it and what they had to do, that they couldn’t do anything about it. They didn’t have to bring up the fact that they needed to discuss it because they knew it was already on both of their minds.
And Damon’s so happy, he doesn’t mind, once it would have hurt him immensely that he has to keep waiting for Elena, but now it doesn’t matter because he’s so close to her and he knows she feels something in return. That’s all he needs and he’s going to wait as long as she needs.
The look Elena gave him before she closed the door was amazing. She has never looked at him like that before, like she’s taking him in for the first time, like she’s considering all the possibilities she has with him and wondering what this means. She’s recognizing what she feels for him and isn’t sure of what to think, but she doesn’t know if it feels as wrong as she thinks it should.
The fact that she told Damon it wasn’t right shows that she feels something for him, too. If she didn’t love him, she wouldn’t feel guilty about the kiss. She has never felt guilty for Damon’s feelings for her—she would only have to feel guilty about it if she returned them. It wasn’t just Damon.
And then Elena tells Matt later that she’s in love with vampires, plural. Matt notices—he looks a little taken aback when he hears it, but he doesn’t say anything. She’s in love with two, and this is the first time she actually acknowledges it and recognizes it. I think she realized it during the kiss in 3x10. It’s more than what I could have ever hoped for.
Everything about the Delena scene in this episode was perfect and beyond beautiful.

Tak właśnie się zastanawiam, dlaczego w poprzednim odcinku Tyler i ta hybryda potrzebowali zaproszenia by wejść do domu Gilbertów, skoro Elena umarła, Jeremy także? :D Ten dom nie powinien mieć właściciela, bo jaki by nie był, to nie żyje :P
"W kwestii tego z kim pójdzie do łóżka Damon.. Wydaje mi się, że zarówno Katherine jak i Rebekah są prawdopodobnymi kandydatkami. Szczerze wolałabym opcję nr 1, gdyż po powrocie zza światów głównym celem pierwotnej wampirzycy będzie zemsta na Elenie (i jakakolwiek intymność z nią mogłaby zostać postrzegana za zdradę; Damon nie zrobi tego aby okręcić sobie pannę wokół palca, gdyż – jak wspomniała asystentka scenarzystów – fani Deleny nie mają być zadowoleni).
Luźne uwagi:
- Słowo “just” zostało wykorzystane przez dziennikarza, nie Iana. Aktor równie dobrze mógł użyć “recently”, które brzmi podobnie, ale w praktyce zwiększa nasze możliwości o kilka odcinków.
- Ian ostatnio nakręcił scenę w której Damon budzi się (!) u boku pięknej kobiety. Poranek, gdy tymczasem większość odcinków zamyka się w 24h. A co za tym idzie – seks jako taki miał miejsce epizod wcześniej. Gorącej sceny można się więc spodziewać w 13 czy też 14 odcinku, a przebudzenie to tylko jej konsekwencja.
- 28.11 (13 odcinek) Ian pisał na twitterze o tym, że kręci właśnie scenę z udziałem nagiego Damona. Nina miała wtedy wolne przez zabieg usunięcia zębów mądrości, a Claire Holt przebywała w LA (rodzina przyleciała do niej na Thanksgiving i odleciała w godzinach popołudniowych czy też wieczornych 28.11, a więc Holt nie bylo wtedy w Atlancie). Musi więc pojawić się jeszcze jedna naga scena o której nie wiemy. Niestety nie możemy się sugerować tweetem Iana.
- Czy Ian w obecności Niny wspomniałby o gorącej wampirzycy, która nie jest jego dziewczyną? W ich wspólnym wywiadzie w którym z reguły dwie osoby powinny się wypowiadać – a nie tylko jedna? Argument przemawiający za Katherine.
- W 3.13 Damon ma się zwrócić z prośbą o pomoc do swojego starego znajomego. Znajomej? Katherine? :D Rebekah odpada, gdyż dobrze wiemy jaki ma stosunek do Eleny. Gdyby Damon miał wskrzesić Pierwotnych to Elijah figuruje na pierwszym miejscu listy (Eliijah pojawi się na obiedzie z Damonem, Klausem i X (pewnie Stefanem), więc tak się zapewne stanie; stawiam jednak na to, że po ingerencji Katherine)."

Najpierw pomyślałam, że może chodzi o tą scenę pod prysznicem, no ale 13 odcinek jest podany, więc to nie to:p
Tyler go ugryzie z zazdrości, Klaus nie uleczy i Damon umrze. Wróci jako duch, Elena wróci do Stefana i tak zakończy się serial :D
Jeżeli chodzi o ostatni punkt, to być może jest to Samantha, ta Gilbertówna, która ma się pojawić niebawem w VD. Z spoilerów wynika, że jest to ktoś z przeszłości Damona.
Ale ona miała się pojawić dopiero w 3x16. Mogliby dać więcej spoilerów, a nie tak oszczędnie, że musimy się wszystkiego domyślać i tworzyć jakieś nieprawdopodobne historie :D

She picks up her phone. The second she hears the familiar voice of the man who always brings her safety, she notices once again how much she needs him.
Damon: Finally. Where are you?
Elena: I’m okay, i’m not dead or a vampire or anything else like that.
She talks very fast and right now doesn’t even care that he hears her crying.
Damon: Just tell me where you are. I’ll come and get you.

He doesn’t say a word when she gets in the car. She can see he is angry - trying his best to hold himself together - and she knows, she doesn’t have to say anything either.
After a while she feels him looking at her and curses herself for not being able to hold back new tears.
Damon: You are gonna be okay, Elena.
