We got a little scoop to get you through another slow weekend. Word has come into Bloody-Disgusting that Sony Screen Gems has officially started development on Quarantine 2, the sequel to the box office success from last October that grossed over 30m here in the States. The first film was a nearly shot-for-shot remake of the Spanish horror film [REC] (arriving on DVD this July from Sony), while we're being told that Screen Gems is looking for a totally original pitch for the sequel. Filmax is in post-production on their own sequel to [REC]
