Dla tych, którzy mogą być ciekawe, ten film został nakręcony w centrum Manhattanu i Garfield
siedzi na górze na budynku Miejskiego Manhattan, bezpośrednio z widokiem na Plac Foley z
siedziba sądu Tweed i New York City Hall i jest też 4 s filmik http://screenrant.com/amazing-

As with virtually all superhero movies, there has been a certain degree of secrecy surrounding
the production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but director Marc Webb can’t be accused of
keeping fans out of the loop. Embracing the possibilities of social media for the purposes of
promotion, Webb has posted a teaser image for every day of filming, some of which contained
nothing of real consequence and others of which dropped major plot hints or even revealed
new cast members.
After a landmark 100 days of filming, Webb revealed in a tweet that The Amazing Spider-Man 2
has now wrapped, and will be heading off into post-production to get ready for its May 2014
release. The webslinger will only have a short time to rest, however, before Sony brings him
back for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 in 2016 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 in 2018. That
might sound like a crazy amount of planning ahead, but since Spider-Man is Sony Pictures’
most profitable property to date, the studio is understandably invested in it.
To mark the 100th day of filming, Webb also published a celebratory video that seems be a
sped-up version of a real shot from the movie, filmed on a smaller camera clipped onto the
crane rig just behind the main camera. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was shot on 35mm film, as
opposed to the digital RED Epic camera used for The Amazing Spider-Man; this is a pretty
unusual choice for a big budget action movie that will presumably require many special effects
(not to mention post-conversion to 3D), as film has long been sliding out of fashion, as digital
cinematography produces progressively improved results for lower costs and with greater
efficiency, but many directors still prefer the aesthetic of film.
For those who might be curious, this video was filmed in downtown Manhattan and Garfield is
sitting on top on the Manhattan Municipal Building, directly overlooking Foley Square with
Tweed Courthouse and New York City Hall off to his left. One of the benefits of doing so much
on-location filming is that Webb has been able to place his actors directly in the middle (or on
top of) New York landmarks rather than just shooting everything in front of a green screen,
though it’s a relief to see Garfield securely strapped to a harness for this set-up.
The video is somewhat perfect in that it doesn’t really give anything away, but contains just
enough detail to leave Spider-Man fans speculating as to what could have driven Peter to this
state. His costume and mask are nowhere to be seen, and overall his posture seems
defeated, even dropping his head into his hand at one point. Could he be mourning the death
of another character in the film, or is it just that the pressure of protecting New York City is
starting to get to him?
What do you think of Webb’s decision to document every day of The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s
filming to his Twitter followers? Do you like seeing snippets of movie being made, or do you
prefer a bit more mystery?
