Ogłosozno listę filmów i artystów nominowanych do nagród Independent Spirit Awards określanych przez specjalistów jako Oscary filmów niezależnych. Najwięcej, bo aż 6 nominacji otrzymał film zatytułowany "Lovely and Amazing". Zaraz po nim na liście znalazł się pokazywany niedawno w Łodzi "Far From Heaven" z 5 nominacjami.
Nominację do ISA otrzymał także Przemysław Reut za "Jezioro paradoksu". Polski artysta nominowany został w kategorii "Someone to watch award", w której wyróżnia się obiecujących filmowców, którzy mają zadatki na to aby w przyszłości nieźle "namieszać" w filmowym światku.
