Yes, I always recommend giving things a try because you are the only person who can truly judge if something is right for you. I won’t say that I loved the premiere because I definitely did not, but there were enough intriguing parts to make me want to tune into the second episode.

To be honest, I think people are over-hyping the opening scenes. Yes, there’s a lot of kissing/nakedness and Delena fans will be in fangirl heaven, but for those who are not fans of the couple, you’re not going to spend the entire hour wanting to break your TV.

Hahaha, it’s an adjustment for all involved, but makes for some funny scenes. Yes, Delena are absolutely as happy as the spoilers say, but Stefan is on Elena’s mind. As a Stelena fan, I can say that my fellow fans will be happy with the episode despite all the Delena.

The bad news is that Caroline (Candice Accola) has a particularly emotional scene towards the end of the episode — and it might be more than just homesickness that’s bugging her. I really hope its about Klaus!

Yes, I’ve seen that spoiler. No, it’s not about Klaus. I also don’t think the scene was that emotional. To me an emotional Caroline scene is when she realized she had fangs or when Silas almost killed her mom and she begged her to come back or when she cried with Matt after her dad died or when she asked Klaus if she was going to die on her birthday. This scene does not even come close to any of those, in my opinion.

Did caroline cry or was she just a little bit upset? did you like candice performance in this scene?
She did cry, yes. I always like Candice’s performances, but compared to other times we’ve seen Caroline get emotional, I don’t think this is that big of a scene.


Did you like Matts storyline? is he going to be a big part in this season?
Matt is my least favorite character. That being said, yes, his storyline is extremely interesting and has the potential for being huge.

Did you like Jesse and do you see a potential hook up?
In this episode, he came across like a typical frat boy. I assume he’ll get some depth in future episodes. I hope so anyway. He definitely likes what he sees when he looks at Caroline.

I am a BIG caroline fan can you tell me if she is going to get a great storyline this season? or will they continue with sunny carebear? what is your impression when you watched 5x01?

I’m a big Caroline fan too. She’s very sunny in the episode, but she’s actually less sunny than Elena. Wrap your head around that. As far as great storylines go, I honestly don’t know. Her part was very much a supporting one in this episode.

Belgium was mentioned. Their trip gets about 30 seconds of screen time, but there’s a lot of skin to go around and champagne.

-Um…I like the exterior of the old one better. As far as the interior, we don’t get to see much, but I really like the colors in the room that you can see in the Elijah/Hayley episode stills. I hope it has a grand staircase because that was the best.


-All the Katherine stuff was taken out and there is no reference to her in any of the flashbacks. They want this show to stand on its own and new viewers wouldn’t understand any of that stuff. Plus, it makes it easier to give Hayley one personality to stick with if they leave out her TVD history aside from the ONS.

-Nothing wrong with that. I didn’t like Hayley on ‘TVD’. I thought she was pointless just like the rest of the season four newbies. But I enjoyed her in the director’s cut version of the pilot and I enjoyed her in the premiere. I think there’s potential for the character, but like everything, it’s going to depend on the writing.

-I’m not allowed to give away any hints to the ending. But I can say that it completely shocked me, it made my mom gasp out loud and I’ve said before, I’d sell my children (if I had any) to get episode two immediately.

-No, nothing related to Mystic Falls characters is mentioned. That doesn’t mean it won’t be mentioned in future episodes. I had a really long text conversation with Juliete earlier about this and it’s one of the rare cases where we disagree. I think ‘The Originals’ can easily get away with glossing over their history with Katherine and the word ‘doppelganger’ never needs to be uttered on the show. But that’s my opinion and I can see why people think otherwise. We’ll see what happens in future episodes.

tak jak myslalem - wątki Pierwotnych z ostatnich odcinków TVD byly KOMPLETNIE zbędne i nic nie wnosily. Wszystkie te Klaroline/Kalijahy/Mabeki zginą szybko i bezbolesnie. Szkoda ze KC zrobilo z Caro idiotkę, a Kalijah zniszczylo trochę wizję milosci Kath do Stefana, ale cóz.

Pierwotni zniknęli, to i zmienią całą przeszłość by utorować drogę Silasowi. No ale...

Ale mnie zdziwiło wspomnienie bliźniaków. Nawet mi to do głowy nie przyszło, ale dobrze że nic na to nie wskazuje.

-I think people can and should ship whoever they want to.
For me, I don’t see any chemistry there so their ONS fell flat for me. I also think people who are worried that the new show will try to push them together to bond over their baby, I don’t see that happening at all.
If anything, I think the two will end up hating each other even more…which really, when you take out all the supernatural aspects, that’s probably a very normal reaction to getting into a situation where you’re suddenly stuck with a mistake you made for the rest of your lives.

And from a fangirl perspective, Klayley happening would derail Elijah/Hayley from happening and I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed them to make out.
